We moved into a dated house and Stephanie’s design expertise brought both family bathrooms to align with our vision. Our experience working with Stephanie was seamless.
In our kitchen, we kept our solid wood cabinets and simple floor. She was able to choose the right paint colors, found great hardware, lighting, art and accessories to pull it together. She also helped us accessorize our entire home.
We were very happy with how it aesthetically came out and how she made our house a home!

Design Consultation
Every design service starts with an onsite consultation, with no obligation to move forward. This allows me to see your space, discuss your goals, offer ideas, and view your inspiration boards. It also helps us decide whether we want to embark on a full project together.
My standard design consultation fee is $400 USD for up to 90 minutes.

How it Works
-
Your first step is to schedule a brief discovery call with me so we can chat about your project needs and what you’re hoping to achieve. It’s also a great opportunity for you to ask any initial questions.
If we’re a good fit, I’ll send over a short questionnaire to learn more about your style, along with a request for photos of your space and your inspiration (Pinterest and Houzz boards are perfect).
-
This 90 minute meeting takes place in your home. We’ll walk through your space, talk about how you live, what design elements you love (and don’t), and discuss your goals in more detail. Together, we will address any specific space needs or challenges. I’ll share ideas, offer suggestions, and help clarify the project scope.
-
After the consultation, you’ll receive a custom design proposal outlining the recommended services along with your next steps. Due to the complex nature of custom cabinetry, fixtures, finishes, and labor, I am required to create detailed layouts and drawings before contractors or vendors can provide firm estimates.
-
After you decide to move forward with my proposal, you will sign the agreement and provide a 50% deposit for all design fees. I will then schedule a follow-up appointment to take detailed measurements of your space and proceed with creating the in-depth, full design plan. The full design plan usually takes 6–8 weeks to prepare. Throughout the process, I’ll keep you updated and involved.
If you have a contractor on board at the time you are working with me, I request that they attend the following meetings:
Site Measure and Ideation Meeting
Space Planning and Concept Development
Design Wrap-Up Meeting
-
While I’m measuring your space, we’ll talk about how you use it - storage needs, dream features, and your day-to-day routines. You’ll share more about what you love, and I’ll ask leading questions that get to the heart of what really works for you. All of this helps inform the next step: Bringing your space to life digitally.
-
With all the valuable insight I’ve collected, I’ll get to work behind the scenes, shaping the overall direction of your design by balancing beauty with practicality. You’ll receive preliminary floor plans and visual concepts, which we’ll refine together through thoughtful collaboration. Based on your feedback, I’ll revisit the layout once more if needed—tweaking, refining ideas, or blending elements to ensure the design truly reflects your vision. We’ll review any updates together in a follow-up meeting to keep the process moving forward smoothly.
-
With the design direction established, your contractor or builder scheduled, and allowances set for materials and finishes, we’re ready to dive into the good stuff - selecting all the materials and finishes that will define the look and feel of your space.
From tile and flooring to plumbing, lighting, and even paint colors, I’ll curate options based on everything we've discussed. When you trust me to source these elements, it creates a smooth, low-stress experience. If needed, I’ll make one round of finish and fixture revisions.
-
By now, you’ve seen a number of design drawings that have shaped your space, but the renderings continue to evolve and improve as we finalize more decisions.
At this stage, we’ll meet with your contractor or builder to review all selections and documentation, including CAD drawings, wall elevations, electrical layouts, and custom details. You’ll receive a beautifully organized project packet that serves as a resource for you and your contractor during the build.
-
This is where your contractor takes center stage. The build phase includes everything from demolition and framing to finish carpentry and painting. It can get noisy, dusty, and - let’s be honest - a bit emotional as your home transforms into a full-on construction zone.
I’ll help you think through whether staying in your home during this phase makes sense or if a temporary move-out is the better call. It’s a big step, but trust me, the transformation is well worth it.
-
Once your project is complete, the appliances are out of their wrappers, and the space is polished to perfection, I will return to style the space and coordinate a professional photoshoot to capture the finished design. These images help tell the story of your project and become part of my portfolio.
Many of the accessories I will bring for styling are available for purchase, in case you’d like to keep the finishing touches. Once the camera clicks are done, the space is yours to enjoy - ready to live in, welcome guests, and create new memories.
